Don’t let your carnal cravings for the word “caged” fool you, this is a made for US television production that was directed by Karen “shot by shot” Author who’s claim to fame is winning an Emmy award for the annoying dramatic television series Cagney & Lacey. New fish Alice Needham (Judith Light from 80’s sitcom swill Who’s The Boss) is wrongly accused of stealing department store duds, thrown in the slammer, sexually harassed and abused by dim witted prison guards. This mother of two hires an idealistic lawyer, played by everyone's favourite booger sugar bandit Stacey Keach, and they help all the degenerate inmates triumph over the tyranny. This is one shallow pot boiler strictly for the Matlock crowd.
