A coed prison island is the setting for this excuse to see Phillyis Davis take her shirt off. Women are sent to the island and enslaved by some male prisoners who have set uptheir own political structure.. Terminal Island benefits from some sarcastic 70's socio-political commentary, snazzy dated dialogue, over the top acting, and low budget explosion thrills. Even watching scantily clad women run around the jungle island in bell bottoms is fun to watch. Not a bad little drive-in film, and it even has Tom Selleck in an early role he probably would like to forget. The trailer kicks ass too. Recommended.
