This female gangster film holds a special place in my heart. When I was a kid we would gather at a friends house on weekend nights. It was the dawn of cable television. HBO would only come on at night, and even if you didn't have it you can adjust the fine tunning on your television and pick it up. The signal was awful, but for kids waiting to see breast or violence it was worth the endurance. Lady In Red was one of our favorites, we relished the images of a naked Nancey Drew. Lady Red still holds up today as great B-movie trash. Pamela Sue Martin rises from poverty to become John Dillinger's girl which can only lead to one place. Yep...up the river. She eventually escapes and becomes the title character, pulling heist of her own. You can't go wrong with a cast like this.
